Dr. Stephanie Freilich has been practicing medicine at Carnegie Hill Pediatrics for over twenty years, located in New York City's Upper East Side, for over twenty years. She is board certified in Pediatrics and cares for patients from birth through adolescence. She is particularly interested in developmental and behavioral issues.
After attending an accelerated 7 year BS-MD program, Dr. Freilich received her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1991. She maintains close ties to the Icahn Mount Sinai School of Medicine as a long standing member of the medical school's admissions committee. Dr. Freilich completed her internship and residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in 1994.
Dr. Freilich maintains an active role in teaching and is a mentor to residents, medical students and college students interested in a medical career. She has received peer recognition as one of New York Magazine's Best Doctors and Castle Connolly's Exceptional Women in Medicine.
Dr. Freilich lives with her husband and four children in New York City. As a mother of four, she brings her personal experience with children to her pediatric practice.
