Harold S. Raucher, MD, has been practicing pediatric medicine on New York City’s Upper East Side for over 35 years. He’s board certified and recertified, not just in pediatrics, but also in pediatric infectious diseases. With his pediatric infectious disease specialty, Dr. Raucher has expertise in helping you with your child’s bacterial, viral, fungal, parasitic infections.

Dr. Raucher received his medical degree in 1978 from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, receiving the Elster Award for highest academic achievement in the graduating class. He then remained at Mount Sinai for a pediatric internship, pediatric residency, and pediatrics infectious disease fellowship. He spends over 80 hours a year in keeping up with current knowledge and new developments in pediatrics, infectious diseases and travel medicine.
Dr. Raucher and his wife, Beth, have raised two daughters, so he can relate to the experiences of other parents. He has a special interest in helping mothers and fathers become the best parents they can be. He is the editor and co-author of Your Babycare Bible.
